Just My Stripe Sweater Pattern

Boxy and Striped Fun! with its folded over collar and drop shoulders, the Just my stripe sweater is the perfect addition to any spring wardrobe. Play around with the fluffy yarn, it’s the perfect way to bust through your yarn stash.

Materials:
-1 pair of 9 mm circular needles, 24” cord
-1 pair of 6.5 mm circular needles, 24” cord
-2 (3) 3 (3) 3 (4) 4 (4) 4 skeins(s) of 100g/100m
-2 (3) 3 (3) 4 (4) 4 (5) 5 skeins of 50g/100m (fluffy yarn)

Suggested Yarns:
Fluffy Yarn:
-Qing Fibre, Melted Baby Suri, 2 strands held together
-Wool and the Gang, Take Care Mohair
-Any 50g/400m mohair, hold 3-4 strands together (3 for a lighter fabric, 4 for denser)
-Any 50g/375m Suri yarn, hold 3-4 strands together (3 for a lighter fabric, 4 for denser)
-Sadnes Garn, Borstet Alpakka
-Pingouin, Pingo Fluffy, 2 strands held together
-Abbey Road, Truly Madly Mohair, 2 strands held together
-Sirdar, Temptations

Contrast Yarn:
-Wool and the Gang, Alpachino Merino
-Drops, Andes
-Malabrigo Yarn, Chunky
-We are Knitters, Squish Yarn
-Any Bulky weight yarn

Gauge:
4”x4”: 10 stitches by 16 rows on 9mm needles in stockinette with both fluffy and bulky yarn (individually, not held together)

This pattern is suitable for beginners! You should be familiar with stockinette stitch! This pattern uses the following techniques: picking up stitches and knitting in the round. I’ll be posting tutorials on my instagram!
