For the top:
- 1 (1) 1 (1) 2 (2) 2 (2) 2 (2) skeins of 50g/130m
- Enough elastic to go around your upper stomach with an inch of ease
- 6.5 mm circular needles, 24"-36" cord
- Suggested: 6.5 mm double pointed needles
For the cardigan:
- 4 (4) 4 (5) 5 (5) skeins of 50g/130m
- 6.5 mm circular needles, 24"-36" cord
Gauge:
4 x 4" square: 12 stitches and 20 rows with 6.5 mm needles in stockinette. Note that this might be looser than what you're used to
This pattern is suitable for beginners! You should be familiar with stockinette stitch! This pattern uses the following techniques: increasing stitches, seaming, picking up stitches, i-cord, and knitting in the round. I'll be posting tutorials on my instagram!
