Florence Sweater Pattern
Who says you can’t knit a sweater in the summer? With it’s big sleeves, eyelets, and cropped fit, the Florence Sweater is the perfect sweater to throw on when the nights get slightly colder than the days.
Materials:
- 1 pair of 6 mm circular needles, 24” cord
- 1 pair of 8 mm circular needles, 24” cord
- 400 (400) 500 (500) 600 (600) 700 (700) 800 meters of yarn (aran-bulky weight yarn)
Gauge:
4”x4”: 10 stitches by 16 rows on 8mm needles in stockinette
Yarn Suggestions:
- Qing Fibre, Melted Baby Suri, 2 strands held together
- Wool and the Gang, Take Care Mohair
- Wool and the Gang, Feeling Good Yarn (size up)
- Any 50g/400m mohair, hold 3 strands together
- Pingouin, Pingo Fluffy, 2 strands held together
- Abbey Road, Truly Madly Mohair, 2 strands held together
- Sirdar, Temptations
- Blue Sky Fibers, Brushed Suri, 2 strands held together
